With the long weekend just around the corner, many people will be hopping in their vehicles to head out of town, take in in the festivities at the park or visit with friends and family.
The Regina Police Service is asking drivers, before they head out, to do a quick check of the exterior of their vehicle. In the past two days, four separate instances of tires being compromised while parked in parking lots have been reported to police. These occurred in the area of Gordon Road in South Regina as well as on North Albert Street. In one of the instances a tire fell off the vehicle while it was in motion.
No one was injured as a result of these occurrences.
