On March 11, 2023, at approximately 6:30 a.m. police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Osler Street for a report of a firearm being discharged in the area. The complainant stated they heard one shot and then saw four individuals walking away from the scene.
Police attended to the area and located four individuals matching the description of the suspects provided. All four were taken into custody without incident. A firearm, ammunition and other weapons were seized at the scene. As a result, numerous weapons related charges were laid.
Thirty-eight year-old Violet BELLEGARDE, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition [CC 95(1)(A)];
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose X3 [CC 88];
- Carry a Concealed Weapon [CC 90];
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized [CC 92(1)]
- Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order X4 [CC 117.01(1)]
- Breach Conditional Sentence Order [CC 742.6(1)]
BELLEGARDE will make her first appearance in Provincial Court on March 13, 2023.
Thirty-four year-old Anastasia ADAMS, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Identity Fraud – Possession of an Identity Document [CC 56.1(1)];
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose [CC 88];
- Carry a Concealed Weapon [CC 90];
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon [CC 91(2)
ADAMS will make her first appearance in Provincial Court on March 13, 2023.
Twenty-five Year-old Koletyn CREELEY, of Okanese FN, has been charged with:
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose [CC 88]
CREELEY will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on May 3, 2023.
Forty-five year-old Cory MOISE, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Condition of an Undertaking [CC 145(4)(A)]
MOISE will make his first appearance in Provincial Court on May 2, 2023.
