On Saturday, January 29, 2023, at 9:46 PM, police were dispatched to the area of 14th Avenue and Robinson Street, for a report of a male standing outside a taxi in possession of a knife, waving it towards the taxi driver after the driver had dropped the male off. Upon arrival, police located the male in the area and he was arrested without incident.
Twenty eight year-old Kolton Barr, of Strasbourg, is charged with:
Fraudulently Obtain Transportation, Section 393(3) CC;
Assault With A Weapon, Section 267(A) CC;
Possession Of A Weapon, Section 88 CC;
Carrying Concealed Weapon, Section 90 CC.
Barr will make his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 09:30 AM.
