A 36 year-old Regina male is in hospital after an apparent assault with a weapon, and the Regina Police Service is asking the public for any information they may have to help solve this crime.
On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at approximately 4:53 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2200 block of 14th Avenue for a report of a male who was injured. At that location, officers found a 36 year-old male victim, who had sustained injuries consistent with a violent assault with a weapon. EMS also arrived at the scene, providing emergency first aid and transport to hospital. The victim remains in hospital with injuries described as serious. Investigators will not be able to interview the victim during this time. In the interim, investigators are working to gather any information or physical evidence that might help solve this crime.
