A 28 year-old male has been charged after a motor vehicle collided with a house yesterday (Monday, December 20th).
At approximately 3:38 p.m., several police units were dispatched to the 5000 block of Tutor Way for a report of a motor vehicle collision. The caller stated that a vehicle had driven through his living room window. Police arrived and located the vehicle as well as the driver, a short distance away. Fortunately, nobody was injured in this incident. Police investigation led to the arrest of the male driver for impaired driving. Further investigation led to charges against the 28 year-old suspect.
Twenty-eight year-old Osama Salim SIDDIQUI, of Regina, is charged with:
- Impaired operation of a conveyance by alcohol, drug, or combination of both, s. 320.14(1)(a) CC; and
- Exceed 80 mg of alcohol, s. 32014(1)(b) CC.
SIDDIQUI was released on an undertaking to appear in Provincial Court on January 11, 2022.
