The Regina Police Service has concluded four Break and Enter investigations with charges against a 30 year-old male. In three of these incidents, a suspect entered apartment buildings, allegedly tampering with mailboxes and stealing mail. The fourth investigation alleges the same suspect attempted to break into the underground parking lot of a condo building.
These residential break-ins occurred at 3300 block Rochdale Boulevard (Sept. 1-2), 1300 block N. Galloway Street (Sept. 2), 3300 block Rochdale Boulevard (Sept. 15), and 1300 block N. Stockton Street (Sept. 16). Continued investigation into these offences led police to identify a suspect and, on September 17, 2021, a 30 year-old male was arrested without incident from his home. A search warrant was executed on the suspect’s home the following day, during which police obtained more evidence linking the suspect to the four B&Es.
Thirty year-old Dane Stephen LASZLO, of Regina is facing the following charges:
- 3 X Break and Enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, [348(1)(b) CC]; and
- Attempt break and enter, [348(1)(a) CC.
LASZLO made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021.
