On June 8, 2021, at approximately 5:25pm, police were dispatched to a business in the 3800 block of Albert Street for the report of a robbery in progress. It was reported a male entered the business, grabbed two items off a shelf and proceeded to walk towards the exit. An employee confronted the suspect male prior to leaving. The suspect male produced a knife and held it in a threatening manner. The suspect exited the business and rode off on a bike.
The suspect male was located and identified by police members on the way to the call riding his bike in the 2800 block of Albert Street. The suspect male was arrested without incident.
Twenty-nine year-old Ryland Jesse KAYSEAS, of Regina, is charged with Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
KAYSEAS will make his first appearance on this charge in Provincial Court today, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at 9:30am.
