The Regina Police Service Drug Unit (RDU) completed enforcement on Sunday, April 18, 2021, in relation to illegal drug trafficking investigation within the City of Regina.
The RDU executed three CDSA search warrants, one on an Airbnb in the Harbor Landing area, one on a Hotel room in the downtown area, and one on a vehicle.
As a result of the enforcement, 36 year-old Lilsimon Bichoik BOTH, of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and 24 year-old Both REAT, of Calgary Alberta, were arrested in relation to the investigation.
Approximately 2000 grams of methamphetamine, 250 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of cocaine $41,000.00 in currency, along with multiple cell phone, digital scales and other evidence to support drug trafficking were seized.
Lilsimon Bichoik BOTH and Both REAT were both charged with the following offences:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine – S.5(2) CDSA
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl – S.5(2) CDSA
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine – S.5(2) CDSA
- Possessing proceeds of crime over $5000 – S.355(a) CCC
Both accused made their first court appearance on Monday, April 19, 2021.
