A 25 year-old Regina male has been charged in connection with Regina’s fourth homicide of 2021.
Earlier today, police also released the name of the victim: 45 year-old Lawrence Robert GODFREY, of Vibank Saskatchewan. His family has been notified of his death and has been referred to RPS Victim Services, which will act as support and a liaison to the investigators and other resources.
On Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 4:18 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 100 block of St. John Street for a report of an injured male. Emergency Medical Services were also dispatched, but the male was beyond help and pronounced deceased at the scene. The Coroner was called to the scene, along with Forensic Identification and Major Crimes investigators. It was soon determined that the death would be investigated as a homicide case. Continued investigation resulted in the arrest of a 25 year-old male on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Twenty-five year-old Anthony Trey SEON, of Regina, is charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [235(1) CC].
SEON will make his first court appearance in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021.
