The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may assist in a robbery investigation. On January 12, 2021, at approximately 7:35pm, police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Avonhurst Drive for a report that someone had their vehicle taken by two suspects, one of whom had a firearm. The victim was threatened and assaulted by the suspect with the firearm before the vehicle was taken. The victim sustained minor injuries. The vehicle was located a few blocks away from the incident a short time later and was missing several items that belonged to the victim including an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspects were not located.
Suspect #1 was described as a First Nations male wearing a green hoodie, holding a sawed off rifle.
Suspect #2 was described a First Nations male wearing all black.
