On Friday, December 18, 2020 at approximately 6:20 p.m., police located a vehicle that was believed to be stolen, travelling in the Eastview area. Police pulled the vehicle over in a traffic stop and it was confirmed that the vehicle was reported as stolen. The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) had also been altered. As a result, the male driver was arrested and charged.
Twenty nine year-old Leonard James PELLETIER, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000 [CC 355 (A)];
- Tampering With Vehicle Identification Number [CC 353.1 (1)].
PELLETIER is scheduled to make his first court appearance on these charges on April 15, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
