A 42 year-old male has been arrested and charged with the robbery of a convenience store.
On Thursday, August 27, 2020, at about 12:04 a.m., police were dispatched to a business in the 3200 block of Montague Street for a report of a robbery. The preliminary information indicated an employee of the business was held at knifepoint and told to open the cash register. The male suspect fled on foot before police arrived. The employee of the store was not physically harmed in the incident. A track by a canine team led officers to two individuals in the area. One male matched the description of the suspect in the robbery; that individual was arrested and, after further investigation, was charged.
Forty-two year-old Ryan Wade LAVALLEE, of Regina, is charged with:
- Robbery [344(1)(b) CC]; and
- Fail to Comply with a Condition of a Release Order [145(5)(a) CC].
LAVELLEE made his first court appearance on these charges before Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2020.
