Two Regina males are facing charges after an investigation into recent property thefts from business compounds.
On Friday, August 14, 2020, a break and enter was reported at a business on the 1500 block of Ross Avenue East. Early investigation revealed a theft occurred sometime between August 13, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. and August 14, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. and a suspect/suspects made off with property from the compound.
On August 14, 2020 at approximately 7:20 p.m., members of the Regina Police Service Property Crimes Unit began executing search warrants on three residences and two vehicles in Regina. A search of a vehicle in the 400 block of Robinson Street resulted in the recovery of the property stolen from the 1500 block of Ross Avenue E. Police also located and arrested a male from a residence on the 400 block of Robinson Street. As a result:
Twenty-nine year-old Clinton Joseph DUROCHER, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Break Enter & Commit [CC 348 (1)(B)];
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 [CC 355 (B)];
- Trafficking Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 [CC 355.2]; and
- Fail to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1 (1)].
Police also completed a search at a residence in the 100 block of Thompson Avenue. At that location, police located property that was reported stolen in three different break and enters to businesses in recent weeks. The break and enters occurred on July 22, 2020 in the 600 block of Park Street, sometime between August 7 – 10, 2020 in the 300 block of N Longman Crescent and sometime between August 1 -10, 2020 in the 500 block of Ross Avenue. As a result:
Thirty-four year-old Kristen Delaney ALEXSON, of Regina, has been charged with:
- 3 X Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Under $5000 [CC 355 (B)].
DUROCHER made his first court appearance on the charges today (August 17, 2020) at 9:30 a.m.
ALEXSON will make his first court appearance on the charges on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
