A 21 year-old male has been arrested and charged in connection with two July 30th Break and Enter incidents in the Al Ritchie neighbourhood.
On Thursday, July 30, 2020, at about 8:32 p.m., police were dispatched to an address in the 2000 block of Atkinson Street for a report of a break and enter. Early information indicated a suspicious black Toyota SUV pulled into a garage on that block, was loaded up with various items, and then left the garage. Police found the vehicle a short distance away and confirmed it to be a stolen vehicle out of Weyburn. The next day, the RPS Communications Centre received a report of a B&E to a garage in the 2200 block of Wallace Street. The break-in happened at approximately 3:51 a.m. on July 30th. In this case, a black SUV drove past the garage, a male entered the open overhead door, and took items including a motorcycle helmet and cash. When police viewed surveillance video of the event, they identified the suspect. On Thursday, August 6th, a 21 year-old male was arrested and, as the result of further investigation, was charged in connection to these events.
Twenty-one year-old Tyler Eric GOFORTH, of Regina, is charged with:
- Possession of Stolen Property over $5000 [355(a) CC];
