In the months leading up to Gilbert Brabant’s initial disappearance in 1955, he and his wife travelled from Winnipeg Manitoba through Regina enroute to Moose Jaw Saskatchewan. During the stopover in Regina, Gilbert instructed his wife to carry on to Moose Jaw and find a place for them to live. Gilbert was going to visit friends in Regina. Months later Gilbert showed up at the Moose Jaw home. Upon leaving, Gilbert was not seen again by family. Gilbert was reported missing on May 15, 1958. On May 22, 1958 Gilbert spoke to police and stated he had joined the army. Gilbert has not been heard from since.
