Hearts in the Park
In honour of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week (May 11–17, 2025), the Circle Project, the Regina Police Service, and Family Service Regina are proud to present the seventh annual “Hearts in the Park” event tomorrow, May 14, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This year’s theme, “Putting Our Hearts on the Line – The Power of Collaboration,” highlights the importance of working together as a community to break the cycle of violence. Participants will be able to mark a paper heart with the name of a loved one affected by violence and hang it alongside other hearts around Victoria Park. Attendees will also hear from service providers and advocates, and learn how to recognize the signs of violence and how to help those who may be experiencing violence.
Everyone is encouraged to attend. Whether you are a survivor, an ally, or someone seeking to better understand the impact of violence in our community, this event is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and stand united. Media is invited. Following the program, there will be opportunity for interviews.
