The Inquiry Desk at the Regina Police Service is often your first point of police contact at the Regina Police Service. Inquiry officers working the front desk respond to all walk-in reports, complaints, inquiries, offender reporting, collision reporting, investigative follow-up, telephone inquiries and warrant executions.
Inquiry Officers work the front desk and oversight is provided by a Sergeant and Corporal. During each shift, three officers, including the supervising Corporal, are on duty.
On average, about 350-400 people per week are assisted by Inquiry Officers at the front desk. There were a total of 18,000 walk-ins in 2018. The Inquiry Desk also received more than 7,400 phone calls from the public that year.
