The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, have begun an investigation following the discovery of what appears to be human remains.
On June 9, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., police were dispatched to a call for service on the 1300 block of Retallack Street. Upon arrival, officers located what appeared to be human remains outside a residence. Officers secured the area and requested additional resources from the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit, Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
The death is considered suspicious however, at this early stage of the investigation, there are no further details that will be released to the public.
This investigation is not connected to the ongoing investigation of a missing 35 year-old woman.
