An adult male is charged following a fraud investigation involving multiple victims and losses exceeding $50,000.
Between April and September 2025, several individuals entered into agreements with Sask Abatement to perform residential renovation, abatement, landscaping, and construction work. After receiving quotes and signed contracts for the proposed projects, the victims provided deposits by bank draft and e-transfer.
The investigation found that some projects were never started, others were only partially completed, and several properties were left with unfinished work after the male stopped attending the job sites. Victims reported that requests for refunds were not fulfilled.
On June 3, 2026, at approximately 9:25 a.m., the male was taken into custody without incident following a traffic stop.
As a result of this investigation, 47 year-old Jeremy JORDAN is charged with:
- Fraud Over $5,000 [CC 380(1)(A);
- Criminal Breach of Trust [CC 366]; and
- Laundering Proceeds of Crime [CC 462.31(2)(A)].
JORDAN made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court yesterday on June 4, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
