Four people are facing charges following a three-month investigation into a robbery that left an adult male with serious injuries. On Thursday, January 29, 2026, officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2300 block of Robinson Street for a report of an injured person. The caller told police that an injured adult male had arrived at her residence with what appeared to be significant stab wounds.
Police and EMS arrived on scene and the victim, a 50 year-old male, was taken to hospital with, what appeared to be, serious injuries. Through investigation, police learned the victim was at his home with an adult female, who was known to him. Two male suspects broke into the home, stabbed the victim and assaulted him with bear spray before taking undisclosed items from the home and fleeing the scene. The female suspect, who was initially inside with the victim, also fled along with a fourth female suspect who was waiting outside.
As a result of this investigation,
Twenty-two year-old Shantae SPARVIER of Regina SK is charged with:
- Robbery [CC344(1)(B)]; and
- Break and Enter [CC 348(1)(B)].
SPARVIER made her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on February 17, 2026.
Thirty-seven year-old Evan BAGE of Regina SK is charged with:
- Robbery [CC344(1)(B)].
BAGE made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on February 20, 2026.
Thirty year-old Derek DEBNAM of Churchbridge SK is charged with:
- Robbery [CC344(1)(B)];and
- Fail to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
DEBNAM made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on February 27, 2026.
Thirty-three year-old Chelsea SCHICK-FAYANT of Regina SK is charged with:
- Robbery [CC344(1)(B)].
SCHICK-FAYANT made her first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court on April 27, 2026.
