A 29 year-old male is facing numerous charges following an investigation into a stolen truck.
At approximately 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2026, police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Winnipeg Street for a report that a vehicle, which had been reported stolen earlier that day, was driving in the area.
Officers followed the vehicle from a distance as the suspect driver drove east, eventually parking in a shopping centre lot in the 2000 block of Prince of Wales Drive.
The driver exited the vehicle and was taken into custody, without further incident, by Patrol officers and members of the Tactical Support Unit.
A search of the suspect and vehicle, subsequent to arrest, turned up several stolen debit, credit and prepaid cards along with cheques.
