A 27-year-old male has been charged following an investigation into two vehicle fires reported earlier this month.
The first incident occurred on April 11, 2026. Police were dispatched, at approximately 12:00 a.m., to the 4600 block of Mutrie Crescent for a report of a vehicle fire in the driveway of a residence. Officers arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. They were able to quickly extinguish the blaze using a fire extinguisher from their patrol car.
A second incident was reported on April 16, 2026, when police responded to another vehicle fire in the area of East Sandpiper Crescent.
Last evening (Thursday, April 23, 2026), 27 year-old Donovan BRAY, was arrested and charged with:
• 2 x Arson with Disregard for Human Life [CC 433(A)];
• Disguise with Intent [CC 351(2)]; and
• Mischief under $5000 [CC 430(4)].
BRAY made his first appearance on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning on April 24, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
