Three Charged Following Attempted Robbery

On April 19, 2026 at approximately 7:40 a.m., police were called to the 4000 block of 5^th Avenue for a report of a suspicious person. When police arrived, they located a victim who told officers he was walking to work when he was approached by three male suspects. The suspects demanded money from the victim, chasing him to his workplace, where he was able to lock the door and call police. The suspects then fled the scene.

Moments later, additional patrol officers located and arrested the three suspects. A search, subsequent to the arrest, resulted in the apprehension of a firearm, a knife and bear spray.

As a result of this investigation, 26 year-old Jordan GOODPIPE is charged with:

• Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
• Failure to Comply with Condition of a Release Order [CC 145(5)(A)]; and
• Possession of a Weapon [CC 88].

Thirty year-old Brennon DESJARLAIS is charged with:

• Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)];
• Possession of a Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition [CC 95(1)];
• Careless Use of a Firearm [CC 92(1)];
• Possession of a Prohibited Firearm Knowing That its Possession is Unauthorized [CC 92(1)]; and
• Carrying a Concealed Weapon [CC 90].
