On Thursday, April 2, 2026, at approximately 12:10 p.m., police were dispatched to a report of a robbery at a business located in the 5000 block of Sherwood Drive.
Upon arrival, officers learned that a male suspect had gone behind the counter and stolen merchandise before fleeing the scene in a vehicle with another individual. While officers processed the scene and gathered information, additional units searched the area for the suspect vehicle.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., police located a vehicle matching the description in the 1000 block of Pasqua Street. A traffic stop was conducted, and two individuals matching the descriptions were taken into custody without incident. One individual was later released without charges after it was determined they were not involved in the offence. As a result of this investigation,
Thirty year-old Chicago BLIND, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
BLIND made his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court yesterday on April 6, 2026.
