On Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 5:20 p.m., police were dispatched to the 800 block of Empress Street for a report of a robbery.
The victim reported they had been assaulted and had personal belongings taken before the suspects fled into a nearby residence. Officers spoke with the victim before attending the residence, where four suspects were identified and arrested without incident. As a result of this investigation,
Eighteen year-old Shyla KING and 19 year-old Dylan CARDINAL are jointly charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
KING and CARDINAL made their first appearances on these charges in Regina Provincial Court this morning at 9:30 a.m., April 7, 2026.
A 14 year-old female youth, and a 16 year-old male youth, who cannot be named in accordance with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act are jointly charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344(1)(B)].
Both youth made their first appearances on these charges in Regina Provincial Youth Court this morning at 9:30 a.m., April 7, 2026.
