At approximately 9:20 p.m. last evening (March 19, 2026) police were called to a report of a weapons offence on Murphy Crescent.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a stab wound. The male victim was taken to hospital by EMS with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim told police he was inside a residence when five males arrived and began knocking loudly on the door. The victim went outside and an altercation began. The victim told police that he was bear-sprayed and stabbed before the group fled the scene.
Officers arrested a suspect a short time later. As a result of this investigation, a 16 year-old male, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- Assault With a Weapon [CC267(A).
The youth will make his first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Youth Court on May 6, 2026.
