The Regina Police Service is asking residents near the 1000 Block of 12th Avenue to check their properties for a firearm related to an ongoing homicide investigation. Investigators believe the firearm may have been disposed of in the area following the homicide on Saturday, November 1, 2025. The area of focus is Saskatchewan Drive to Victoria Avenue, Montreal Street to Wallace Street. Please see the map below.
RPS Major Crimes and Forensics Unit investigators remain in the area – continuing their investigative efforts. Due to the potential public safety risk, the RPS is asking area residents to check all areas around their property including, but not limited to, eavestroughs, shrubs, under decks and inside any unsecured sheds or garages.
Residents are asked to contact police at 306-777-6500 if they locate anything that may assist in the investigation, including a firearm. Do not touch the weapon. Stay with it and contact police immediately.
