The Regina Police Service is investigating a firearms offence that resulted in an 11-year-old victim being injured.
Officers were called to a residence in the 1000 block of Edgar Street shortly after 2:00 a.m. this morning (August 11, 2025). When they arrived, they found an 11-year-old female inside the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to hospital by EMS with serious injuries.
Preliminary investigation shows multiple gunshots were fired at the residence from outside the residence. The investigation is ongoing but, at this time, there appears to be no risk to the public.
Anyone in the area of the 1000 block of Edgar Street (please the map below), who has video surveillance from the past 24 hours is asked to reach out to RPS investigators at 306-777-6500.
