The Regina Police Service is investigating the city’s fourth homicide of 2025.
At approximately 2:00 a.m. on May 30, 2025 officers were dispatched to a call for service on Marshall Crescent. Upon arrival, police located a deceased adult male. Officers secured the area and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crime Unit, the Regina Police Service Forensic Identification Unit and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
Investigation has determined the cause of death to be as a result of homicide. The victim has been identified as 22 year-old Wahkia Ewalk.
This investigation is ongoing. Police are asking those who reside in the area noted below (within the perimeter of 1st Avenue North, Forget Street, 3rd Avenue North and Osborne Crescent) to contact police if you have exterior video surveillance.
