A second person is now charged in relation to a homicide that occurred late last week.
At approximately 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, police and EMS were dispatched to a call for service at a residence in the 400 block of East College Avenue. The caller reported an injured adult male on scene.
Upon arrival, police located the male victim and attempted life-saving measures. EMS arrived on scene and the male was declared deceased. Officers secured the scene and requested the additional resources of the Regina Police Service Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit. An investigation in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service was launched. Investigation determined the death to be a homicide – the city’s second of 2025.
The victim is 42 year-old Christopher Seaton of Regina.
On April 10, 2025, 36 year-old James DUBOIS of Regina was arrested and charged with:
- First-Degree Murder [CC 235 (1)].
Further investigation led to the arrest of 38 year-old Alexandra DUBOIS of Regina. DUBOIS was arrested today, Thursday, April 17, 2025 and is charged with:
- Accessory After the Fact to Murder [CC 240].
Alexandra DUBOIS will make her first appearance on this charge in Regina Provincial Court on May 27, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
