On Thursday, February 13th, 2025 at approximately 9:10 p.m., police responded to a robbery in progress in the 2600 block of Coronation Street. Initial information indicated the three suspects assaulted an individual, before fleeing with the victim’s personal belongings.
Police located one of the suspects nearby, who was subsequently arrested. A search of this suspect reveled the victim’s belongings. A short time later, at approximately 10:50 p.m., police located and arrested the second suspect at a residential address. The third suspect was located and arrested at the same address on Friday, February 14th, 2025 at approximately 12:45 p.m.
As a result, 18 year-old Alexis ROGERS, of Whitehorse, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)].
A 15 year-old youth, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)].
A 13 year-old youth, who cannot be named in keeping with the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B).
ROGERS and the 15 year-old youth made their first appearance on this charge in (Youth) Provincial Court this afternoon, Friday, February 14, 2024.
The 13 year-old youth will make their first appearance on this charge in Youth Provincial Court on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
