At approximately 5:30 a.m., on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 police received a report of a seriously injured female in the 1400 Block of Argyle Street. Officers arrived and located the victim laying on the ground with what appeared to be gunshot wound(s). Officers provided first aid until EMS arrived and transported the victim to hospital. On the morning of Friday, December 6, 2024 the victim succumbed to her injuries.
On January 5, 2025, Patrol officers located and arrested a 21 year-old male in relation to this homicide.
Twenty-one year-old Jerek Dorian Tyler FAVEL, of Regina, is charged with:
- Second Degree Murder [CC 235(1)];
FAVEL makes his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, Tuesday January 7, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
