On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at approximately 1:00 a.m., police were dispatched to a residence in the 1400 block of Cameron Street for the report of an armed robbery. Initial information indicated the victim had been held at gunpoint, before the suspects demanded personal items. A short while later, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers located the two male suspects and arrested them without incident.
As a result, thirty-five year-old Julian GAMBLER and forty-one Justin TOURANGEAU are jointly charged with:
- Robbery [CC 344 (1)(B)]; and
- Use of Imitation Firearm [CC 85 (2)(A)].
The accused made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, Monday, January 6, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
