On December 25, 2024, at approximately 1:49 a.m. police were dispatched to the 1600 Block of 11th Avenue. Information received indicated that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle.
Police arrived and located an injured adult male, who was attended to by EMS. The injured male was then transported to hospital with injuries described as life threatening.
Police located the driver of the vehicle, who had remained on scene. Additional police resources, including traffic collision investigators and the Forensic Identification Unit were utilized to assist in this investigation.
This incident is still under investigation. It has not yet been determined what charges, if any, will result pending the outcome of this investigation.
