On October 26, 2024, police were dispatched to hospital, following the report of a weapons offence. Police arrived and learned that the victim was assaulted by two male suspects on the 4100 block of 5th Avenue.
Surveillance footage from a nearby business led to police identifying the suspects, who were both arrested after an unrelated call on Thursday, November 7, 2024.
As a result, 24 year-old Michael BELLEGARDE and 24 year-old Cody MACHISKINIC-HOOD are charged with:
- Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)].
BELLEGARDE and MACHISKINIC-HOOD made their first appearance on this charge in Provincial Court this morning, November 8, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
