Male Arrested in Drug Trafficking Investigation

On Friday, June 28, 2024, members of the Regina Drug Unit (RDU) concluded an investigation into drug trafficking in the city of Regina.

This investigation led police to a search warrant execution on the 4800 block of Harbour Landing in Regina. A 39 year-old male was taken into custody and subsequently charged for drug trafficking.

As a result of the search, police located:

• Approximately 4 kilograms of a substance believed to be methamphetamine;
• Approximately 1 kilogram of a substance believed to be cocaine;
• Approximately 1 kilogram of a substance believed to be Methyl​enedioxy​methamphetamine (MDMA); and
• 934 pills believed to be fentanyl.

As a result of the investigation, 39 year-old Eldon Victor GRANT, of Surrey, British Columbia, is charged with:

• Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) [CDSA 5(2)];
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine) [CDSA 5(2)];
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (MDMA) [CDSA 5(2)]; and
• Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (fentanyl) [CDSA 5(2)];

GRANT made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.
