On June 21, 2024, at approximately 8:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 23rd Avenue for the report of a weapons offence. Information received was that a male had been stabbed with what appeared to be a knife outside of a residence.
Police arrived and located an adult male with injuries consistent with knife wounds. The victim was transported to hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigation determined that a fight had broken out outside of the residence resulting in the male victim being stabbed multiple times in the legs. The suspect was located inside of the residence and arrested without incident.
As a result of this investigation, twenty two year-old George GORDON of Regina is charged with:
- Aggravated Assault [CC 268(1)]; and
- Fail to Comply With Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)]
GORDON made his first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning, Monday, June 24, 2024, at 9:30 a.m.
