At approximately 1:00 p.m., on December 22nd, 2023, members of the Regina Police Service were dispatched to a residence in the 900 block of Athol Street for a report that an unknown male had broken into a dwelling. Police arrived on scene and gave commands to the suspect to show himself and come out of the dwelling. As a result of the suspect refusing to communicate with police or follow commands, a Police Service Dog was utilized to search the dwelling. The Police Service Dog located and made contact with the male who was taken into custody without further incident. The male received medical treatment for dog bite injuries prior to being lodged in Regina Police Service Detention.
Thirty-nine year-old, Lucien BOULBRIA, of Regina, is charged with:
- Break and Enter with intent to commit an Indictable Offence [CC 348(1)(a)]
BOULBRIA will make his first court appearance on these charged in Provincial Court at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
