The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, has concluded that the death of an adult female, which was the subject of a previous news release, is not a criminal case.
At approximately, 11:50 p.m. last evening (Tuesday, December 5, 2023), patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1300 block of Montague Street for a report of a deceased person. When they arrived, they discovered a deceased adult female. Officers secured the scene and requested a coroner, as well as additional police resources.
The investigation, including an autopsy authorized by the Coroner, has concluded that the death is non-criminal in nature. The name of the deceased person will not be released by the Regina Police Service.
