On Sunday, October 22, at approximately 7:30 p.m., police were dispatched to Rae Street and Saskatchewan Drive for the report of a motor vehicle incident with injuries. Information received was that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.
Police arrived and located an injured 32 year-old female lying on the ground, who was taken to hospital by EMS. The injury has been described as non-life-threatening.
Traffic on Saskatchewan Drive between Angus Street and Robinson Street was closed in order for members of the Traffic Safety Unit and Forensics Identification Unit to gather evidence. Traffic has since been resumed.
