Three individuals are facing charges as a result of a six week investigation by the RPS Crime Reduction Team (CRT).
On July 27, 2023, members of CRT, with assistance from the SWAT team, executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Albert Street. As a result of the search warrant, two adult males and one adult female were taken into custody. Police seized a quantity of drugs, more than $4,000 in Canadian currency, multiple cell phones and other items associated with drug trafficking.
Twenty-nine year-old Waisse Mahad Omar BOURALEH, of Regina, has been charged with:
• 2 X Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)]
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained By Crime [CC 355 (B)].
Thirty-six year-old Omar Abdiaziz ISSAK, of Edmonton, has been charged with:
• 2 X Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)]
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained By Crime [CC 355 (B)].
Twenty-nine year-old Abaln-Emmanualle YEBOUA, of Edmonton, has been charged with:
• 2 X Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking [CDSA 5 (2)]
• Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained By Crime [CC 355 (B)].
BOURALEH, ISSAK and YEBOUA will each make their first court appearances on these charges in Provincial Court on September 11, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
