As the Queen City Ex 2023 officially wrapped up Sunday, the Regina Police Service (RPS) is pleased to report very few incidents requiring police attention over the five-day event.
RPS had a proactive presence, working in conjunction with REAL District Security. Both uniformed and plain clothes officers were in attendance each day/night.
RPS members responded to the following calls for service:
- 12 reports of lost children who were reunited with family/caregivers;
- 6 reports of intoxicated people;
- 2 people wanted on outstanding warrants were arrested;
- 2 assaults – one of these involved a knife and resulted in a 16 year-old male being charged with ‘Assault with a Weapon’. The victim was treated for minor injuries in hospital.
The Regina Police Service thanks visitors and residents for their cooperation. We also thank REAL District Security and our other partners in community safety.
