The Regina Police Service, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service, has opened a death investigation. The investigation began after the discovery of an injured adult male at a home in the 1400 block of Rupert Street late last evening, Thursday, July 27, 2023.
Officers were dispatched to the residence shortly after 11:00 pm. When they arrived they found a seriously injured male inside the residence. Despite life-saving attempts by both police and EMS, the male was pronounced deceased at the scene. Police secured the scene, and requested the Coroner as well as additional police resources.
At this early stage of the investigation, there are no other details for release to the public.
