On Sunday, May 14, 2023 at approximately 8:00 p.m., police located a vehicle, reported stolen from Moose Jaw, travelling in Regina. Two occupants were observed inside.
Police located the vehicle, unoccupied, parked in the 1000 block of Princess Street. A police perimeter was set up and the male driver of the vehicle was seen running in the area. Patrol officers and members of the Canine Unit located the male suspect in the 1000 block of Queen Street; he was arrested and taken into police custody without incident. As a result of police investigation, a male youth suspect was also arrested and taken into custody.
Thirty-three year-old Lyndon Maynard GAMBLER, of Regina, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000 [CC 355 (A)].
A 17 year-old male, who cannot be named in accordance with provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with:
- Possession of Property Obtained By Crime Over $5000 [CC 355 (A)].
GAMBLER made his first court appearance on these charges in Provincial Court this morning (May 15, 2023) at 9:30 a.m.
