UPDATE: WINDIGO has been arrested.
The Regina Police Service is asking for help from the public in locating a 32 year-old male who is wanted for arrest relating to the 2022 homicide of 34 year-old Bryant Thayne STARR.
At approximately 12:40 a.m. on the early morning of Wednesday, October 12, 2022, police were dispatched to the Regina General Hospital for the report of an unknown male in hospital with wounds consistent with an assault. Police arrived and began investigating the incident. The male, identified as Bryant STARR, passed away in hospital two weeks later on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
Investigation led to 32 year-old Forrestre Jade WINDIGO, of Regina, who is now wanted for second degree murder [CC 235(1)].
WINDIGO is described as male, approximately 6’3” tall, heavy build, with brown hair and brown eyes. A photo of WINDIGO accompanies this news release.
