On Sunday, March 12, 2023 at approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision at the intersection of 5th Avenue and Garnet Street. Police arrived and attended to the pedestrian, a 41 year-old female who was taken to the hospital by EMS and determined to have serious, non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the car involved in the collision was arrested for impaired driving causing bodily harm and transported to Regina Police Service Headquarters to provide breath samples.
Twenty year-old Alisha MOMAN, of Regina is charged with:
- Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm [CC 320.14(2)]
- Operating while Impaired [CC 320.14(1)(a)]
- Operating with Over 80 mgs of Alcohol [CC 320.14(1)(b)]
MOMAN will appear in Regina Provincial Court on these charges on March 28, 2023 at 9:30 a.m.
