Two males are charged after a dangerous drive incident involving a stolen vehicle.
On the afternoon of Monday, March 6, 2023, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police observed a vehicle, which was reported stolen on March 2, 2023, driving in an erratic manner, driving a high rate of speed, and running red lights and stop signs. Police did not pursue but were able to observe a male enter the vehicle in the Uplands neighborhood, replacing the original male driver. The new driver continued driving the stolen vehicle in a manner dangerous to public.
A spike belt was deployed and the vehicle was abandoned in a parking lot on the 2900 block of Gordon Road. Four occupants fled, but all were taken into custody, including both drivers. The drivers were jointly charged with possession of the stolen vehicle, and each faced additional charges, summarized below:
Thirty-three year-old Daniel Joseph MOAR, and 27 year-old Terren Brady KENNEDY-GLADUE, both of Regina, are jointly charged with:
- Possess Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 [CC 355(A)];
MOAR is also charged with:
- Dangerous Drive [CC 320.13(1)];
- Drive While Prohibited [CC 320.18(1)(A)]; and
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order [CC 733.1(1)].
KENNEDY-GLADUE is also charged with Dangerous Drive [CC 320.13(1)].
MOAR and KENNEDY-GLADUE made their first appearance on these charges in Provincial Court today, March 7, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
