The Regina Police Service is continuing an investigation into a collision yesterday (Thursday) that resulted in injuries to a 91 year-old female driver.
Police were dispatched at about 11:40 a.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023, to the intersection of Victoria Avenue and McIntyre Street for a collision involving injuries. Thought the incident is still under investigation, the preliminary information available indicates that a Chevy Traverse, which was westbound on Victoria Avenue came into collision with a Chevy Malibu, which was northbound on McIntyre Street. The 27 year-old male driver of the Traverse was unhurt; the 91 year-old female driver of the Malibu was taken to hospital for assessment of injuries, which, in the initial presentation, appeared to be relatively minor.
