Regina Crime Stoppers (RCS) experienced a slight decrease in tips received last year, but the total value of property, drugs and cash seized or recovered is nothing short of impressive. These, and other, indicators show that this volunteer-led organization continues to enjoy strong partnerships and has a significant impact in supporting public safely. The success of the program is directly linked to the commitment of the Board of Directors and the support of the Regina Police Service, the City of Regina, corporate sponsors, and the residents of our city.

In comparison to the 2021 statistics, last year saw fewer tips, arrests and cases cleared, but the result of these tips and concluded cases saw almost four times the total amount – $686,400 – of property, drugs and cash recovered, compared to the previous year.
The 31 rewards approved in 2022 amounted to $8,275, just slightly lower than the approved total rewards in 2021. Of note, only eleven of the 31 rewards have been claimed to date, leaving more than half of the approved rewards unclaimed. Regina Crime Stoppers is asking that tipsters follow up with Crime Stoppers to see if they are eligible for a reward. Tipsters may call the 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) line, or they can check the status of their tip online at P3TIPS.com.
Since its inception in 1984, almost $12.2 million in stolen property and drugs have been recovered with the help of Regina Crime Stoppers.
