The Regina Police Service is asking for information from the public that may help solve an armed robbery and assault. On Thursday, November 3, 2022, at approximately 9:50 a.m., police were dispatched to a convenience store on 5th Avenue for a report of an armed robbery. In the nearby alley a male was assaulted with a bladed weapon and robbed of his belongings.
Police arrived and located the victim male. Police learned that the victim had been driving by and witnessed a male lying on the ground. He got out of his vehicle to assist the prone male, when another male arrived, demanded his belongings, and stabbed him. Both of the other males fled.
RFPS and EMS also arrived, and EMS attended to the male’s injuries, which were described as non-life-threatening. He was transported to hospital.
The assailant is described as male, wearing a red sweatshirt with white pants, and with a shaved head. The other male is described as approximately 5’10”, shoulder length dark hair, wearing a black toque, black hoodie, and black pants.
